A historical moment for the World Moo
Duk Kwan Soo Bahk Do , during the first weekend in December, 1997, Sa Bom
Nim H.C. Hwang was hosted on the island of Puerto Rico by Sa Bom Nim Pedro
Vangas, Jr., Kyo Sa Nims Richard Morales, and Jamie Lazu.
During this historical trip, the Puerto Rican
Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc. (prsbdmdkfed) was reorganized
and was officially sanctioned by the World Moo Duk Kwan Soo Bahk Do
, and the Korean Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan.
Sa Bom Nim H.C. Hwang, (U.S. Designee, for
the Korean Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan, and Grandmaster Hwang Kee, Founder
of the Moo Duk Kwan), accepted Sa Bom Nim Pedro Vangas' committment
to rebuild the PRSBDMDKFED and to continue to seek the guidance of Grandmaster
Hwang Kee, and uphold the standards and philosophy of the Moo Duk Kwan.
To support Grandmaster Hwang Kee's committment to world peace through
the study of our "Living Art" Soo Bahk Do.
Sa Bom Nim Pedro Vangas, will preside as President
of the PRSBDMDKFED, Kyo Sa Nim Richard Morales will be the technical director,
and Kyo Sa Nim Jaime Lazu will act as Treasurer.
